Rams announce details on 2018 spring schedule

Rams to participate or host six spring events throughout February, March and April
FORT COLLINS, Colo. -Â The Colorado State women's soccer team has announced the program's 2018 spring schedule, which begins Saturday, Feb. 24 with the program's 8v8 indoor event.

Each event on the Rams' spring soccer schedule is open to the public. The 8v8 will be held all day from the CSU Indoor Practice Facility, and counts Air Force, Denver, Northern Colorado and Regis among its competition. Action is tentatively slated for a 7:30 a.m. MT start.

Exactly one month later, Colorado State will host a four-team round robin at CSU Soccer Field. The Saturday, March 24 event will begin a 2 p.m. MT with a match against FC Boulder WUPSL, and continues with contests vs. Wyoming (2:45 p.m. MT) and UCCS (3:30 p.m. MT).

In addition to those events, CSU has individual spring matches at home scheduled with Northern Colorado and Metro State. The Rams will face Northern Colorado on Tuesday, April 3 at the new on-campus football stadium at 7 p.m. MT, and will host Metro State at CSU Soccer Field at 1 p.m. MT on Sunday, April 8. Additionally, the Rams will face Colorado at Prentup Field in Boulder, Colo., at 12 p.m. MT on Saturday, April 14.
The CSU women's soccer spring slate will conclude on Sunday, April 15 with the program's First Annual Alumni Game. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m. MT from CSU Soccer Field between the 2018 Rams and a team comprised of the program's alumni.
