FORT COLLINS, Colo. – On Saturday, April 21, following the Green and Gold Spring Game, Colorado State Athletics donors, fans and supporters gathered for the 37th Ram Good Time Auction (RGTA). Held for the first time at the on-campus stadium, more than 480 stalwart friends of CSU Athletics and the Ram Club enjoyed a night of festivities while raising more than $280,000 to support scholarships for Rams student-athletes.

The annual Ram Good Time Auction has raised well over $4.5 million in support of student-athlete scholarships since its inception in 1982. The 2018 event was no exception, resulting in the second-most total dollars raised in the history of the event, surpassed only by the 2014 auction.

The evening began with an exclusive VIP Reception in the Indoor Club, where donors were able to mingle with coaches and Athletics executive staff and share a champagne toast celebrating all of the groundbreaking accomplishments of the past year. Following the VIP Reception, the silent auction portion of RGTA was held in the Markley Family Hall of Champions and Orthopaedic and Spine Center of the Rockies Field Club, where attendees were able to enjoy appetizers and drinks while they surveyed more than 150 silent auction generously donated by the local community.

The highlight of the 37th annual RGTA took place on the fourth floor of the west-side premium tower in the Stadium Club, where donors enjoyed dinner and the live auction, paddle-raiser and games. The live auction—which featured items such as a snow white 2018 Kia Niro donated by Tynan's Kia Fort Collins; a corgi-poo puppy donated by Geri Baker, Front Range Veterinary Clinic and Moore Animal Hospital; and a barbeque with CSU football Head Coach Mike Bobo—presented donors the opportunity to have fun and win exclusive items and experiences all while supporting the Athletics Scholarship Fund.

Following the live auction, CSU Athletics hosted a paddle-raiser kicked off by Rams volleyball Head Coach Tom Hilbert, where boosters raised more than $52,000 for student-athlete scholarships. To cap off the evening, the Bankin' & Eggs Heads or Tails Competition, presented by The Egg & I and Western States Bank, and the $1,000 Coors Cash Giveaway, presented by High Country Beverage, gave donors the chance to win $1,000.

CSU Athletics and the Ram Club again extend heartfelt thanks to all of the attendees, item donors, sponsors and the RGTA Volunteer Committee, which helped make the 37th annual Ram Good Time Auction a massive success. Without their help, it would not have been possible to raise more than $280,000 for Rams student-athlete scholarships.
