Volleyball (1998 to 2001)

Angela Knopf remains as one of the most decorated Ram volleyball athletes in school history and was the second volleyball player to be named to two consecutive first-team All-America teams. She helped lead CSU to three Mountain West championships and four NCAA Tournament berths. While at CSU, Angela helped the Rams reach as high as third in the national rankings, the highest the program had ever achieved and led the Rams to three Sweet 16 finishes in the NCAA tournament. She was also named as the MW player of the year in her junior and senior seasons and was a finalist for the 2002 NCAA Woman of the Year. She achieved all-District honors in 2000 and 2001 along with setting numerous records in her career, including single-season hitting percentage, single-season blocks and career blocks. 

After her CSU career, Knopf went on to become a local high school coach and played beach volleyball professionally. She was a member of the 2002 USA national volleyball team and is a math tutor in the Fort Collins area.
