Volleyball (1996 to 1999)

Catie Vagneur-Mintz is a native of Aspen, Colo., who came to Colorado State in 1996 and helped launch the greatest period in CSU volleyball history. An outside hitter, Vagneur won player of the week in both the WAC and Mountain West and led the Rams to a 1998 WAC Division championship and 1999 MW Tournament championship. Voted by the AVCA as a second-team All-American in 1999, Vagneur finished her career at CSU first in attacks, fourth in kills and fifth in sets played. During her four-year career, the Rams volleyball teams she played on went 104-28.

After graduation, Vagneur spent the next eight years playing AVP Beach Volleyball and finished as high as 13th. She has worked in physical therapy, massage therapy and as a preschool teacher. She has also coached volleyball at the high school and club levels.
