Fred Oglesby took care of the Rams as head athletic trainer from 1974 to 2005 and was named as the 2000 Hall of Honor winner. Oglesby helped Ram athletes from Willie Miller to David Anderson and was a tough trainer to all Ram athletes in every sport. Honored numerous times for his contributions to the National Athletic Trainer’s Association, Oglesby was named the Admiral’s Award winner after the 1994 Holiday Bowl. He played football for the Rams under Tuffy Mullison and Mike Lude, and his son, Luke, was on the last varsity baseball team in school history, while his daughter Christine played softball at CSU.
