Track and Field (2005 to 2008)
More than a decade after she competed at CSU, Katie Lloyd still held the school record for the indoor pentathlon, having already set the outdoor heptathlon and when her career ended in 2008. She posted multiple conference placings in a myriad of events, highlighted by three All-American honors by placing seventh in the pentathlon in 2007 and 13th in the heptathlon in 2008. Lloyd also won four conference championships, two in the pentathlon (2006 & 2007) and two in the heptathlon (2005 & 2006).
After graduation, Katie Lloyd-Hummel returned to her native Mesa County to teach adaptive physical education and coach athletics.Â
