Women’s Swimming and Diving (1993 to 1996)
Kristin Elliot-Fox remains as one of the greatest swimmers in school history and also ranks as one of the greatest in WAC history, as well. A 1992 graduate of Pomona High School, Elliot was a three-time Junior National qualifier in high school before launching her amazing career at CSU. In her freshman year, Elliot won the individual WAC championship in the 100- and 200-yard backstrokes and also competed on the WAC-champion relay teams for the 200 and 400 freestyle. In all, Elliot won six individual WAC championships and seven conference relay tities. She was named to 21 All-WAC teams over her four-year career and also managed her academics, being named to three Academic All-WAC teams. Elliot also was named to the 1994 All-America team and broke numerous school and WAC records.Â
After graduation in 1997, Elliot was married to Brian Fox in 1998 and returned to her studies at Regis University where she earned a second bachelors degree; this time in nursing. Since 2000, she has worked as a neo-natal Intensive Care nurse at Presbyterian St.Lukes Medical Center in Denver.  Â
