Pamela Greene is among one of the earliest and finest female track athletes in school history, establishing records which stood for more than 35 years. Greene left with  the school record in the 220-yard indoor, the 220 outdoor, 100 outdoor and ranked third in the 50 indoor competitions. Possibly the greatest overall sprinter in school history, Greene earned All-American honors for the 200 in both 1973 and 1976. She competed in the 200 at the 1972 Olympics while still attending high school at Denver Manuel. In 1973 she won the AIAW championship in the 200 competition.
