Arguably the greatest offensive line center in CSU history, Weston Richburg's talents were recognized in his freshman year when he was named to the College Football News and Phil Steele first-team Freshman All-America teams. In his senior year, Richburg was named first-team all-conference along with being named on the academic all-conference team. He was a member of the 2013 team which won the thrilling New Mexico Bowl over Washington State. He won the Thurman "Fum" McGraw Award in 2014, one of only five football players to be honored with the award. After graduation, Richburg was chosen to play in the 2013 Senior Bowl and was invited to the NFL Scouting Combine. He was chosen in the second round of the 2014 NFL draft (43rd overall) by the New York Giants, where he had a stellar career as the starting center. After four seasons with the Giants, Richburg moved on to the San Francisco 49ers where he played three seasons and was on the Super Bowl LIV team in 2019.
