Swimming and Diving Picked To Win Mountain West Conference Title

Colorado Springs, Colo. ? The Colorado State swimming and diving team was picked to win the conference title by the Mountain West Conference coaches today.

The Rams received four first place votes and had a point total of 46. Brigham Young notched three first place votes and totaled 44 points. Utah received the remaining first place vote and is picked third with 36 points. UNLV, New Mexico, Wyoming, San Diego State and Air Force round out the poll.

Colorado State has never won the Mountain West Conference title. Brigham Young has won the title every year in the four years of the conference?s existence. The last time the Rams won a conference title was in 1996.
