The Rams Do It Again...
The Colorado State women?s swimming and diving team is on a roll. After dominating the Early Bird Invitational and destroying all competition at the Colorado dual meet, the team rolled into New Mexico for the Lobo Invitational and continued on the blazing path it has been fanning since the start of the season.
Colorado State outscored all competition by over 300 points with a final score of 1,151. Northern Arizona was the closest team behind the Rams with 824 points. Other teams who participated in the meet were Wyoming, New Mexico, New Mexico State and Northern Colorado.
While the Rams were competing in the Lobo Invitational, which they won 17 of the 20 events, a dual meet between New Mexico and CSU was being scored from each team?s top finishers. The Rams overtook the Lobos by 128 points, 214-86.

Schneider Tallies Five...
Senior Kristen Schneider was unstoppable in all of her races this past weekend. Schneider won each event she competed in (the 100 and 200 butterfly, 100 and 200 backstroke, and 200 IM.) Schneider was also on four relays (200 and 400 Medley Relays, 400 and 800 Freestyle Relays) that placed first.

Ram Seniors Dominate...
Kristen Schneider wasn?t the only senior Ram to win events. Katie Peck, Corinne Hofstetter and Jamie Robinson also picked up significant wins for the Rams. Peck won the 400 IM and beat the competition to the wall in the 100 freestyle. Hofstetter mimicked her winning performances from the Early Bird to take the 500 and 1650 freestyle events while Jamie Robinson won the 200 breaststroke.
Other wins came from Sophomore Liz Jones in the 50 freestyle and Junior Lyndsey McCaslin in the 100 breaststroke.

MWC Honors...
Corinne Hofstetter was chosen as the first MWC 2003-2004 swimmer of the week for her top performances at the Early Bird Invitational. Diver Kara Crisp earned MWC diver of the week honors after her success at the CU dual meet.

On the Blocks...
The Rams will have a week off before they split the squad when nine swimmers will fly to Long Beach, Calif. to compete in the Speedo Cup Invitational Nov. 20-22 and the remaining members of the team will dual Northern Colorado, Fri. Nov. 21 at 6:00 p.m.

In the Spotlight: Jamie Robinson?
Jamie Rae Robinson of Greeley, Colo., a former Conference USA Champion, transferred from Texas Christian University her junior year and has been a huge contributor to the success of the Rams since.
Robinson earned First Team Mountain West Conference honors in the 200 breaststroke after she finished third at the MWC Championships with a time of 2:19.30. Her time ranks her as the second fastest 200 Breaststroker in school history. Robinson also placed 11th in the 100 breaststroke and 12th in the 200 IM at the conference championships.
Robinson?s name appeared five times on last season?s top times list. She scored 25 points for the Rams at the conference championships and earned 199.5 points throughout last season.
Robinson was also named to the Mountain West Conference Academic All Conference team for her 3.35 GPA in Marketing.
