Celebrate With The Rams...
The annual swimming and diving banquet is scheduled for May 3, 2003 at the University Park Holiday Inn. All are welcome to attend. The evening will begin with a social at 5:00 p.m. where you are invited to meet the Ram swimmers. Dinner will follow the social. For ticket information contact Chris Woodard at 970-491-7242.
NCAA Wrapup...
Colorado State?s Kristen Schneider was the only swimmer to attend the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships in Auburn, Alabama. She missed her first event, the 100 backstroke, being stranded in Colorado in the worst snow storm in 100 years. She was disqualified in the 100 backstroke for staying underwater too long. She placed 37th in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:58.65.
Record Breakers...
The Rams set four school records at the MWC Championships. Junior Kristen Schneider set records in the 200 freestyle (1:50.29), 200 backstroke (1:58.65) and the 200 IM (2:01.34). The 800 freestyle team (Schneider, Peck, Hofstetter, Kula) also set a school record with a time of 7:26.20.

The Rams had a school record 15 athletes receive all-conference honors.

Schneider All-Time...
Junior Kristen Schneider appears on the all-time top times lists in four individual events. She holds the Colorado State records in all four of those events, more than former Ram Amy Van Dyken. Schneider also has been a member of nine different relay teams that have had marks in the top-five all-time.
Making MWC Records...
The Rams set three conference records at the Mountain West Conference Championships. Kristen Schneider smashed her own record in the 200 IM with a time of 2:01.34. The 200 freestyle relay (Knudson, Jones, Peck, Langner) set a MWC Record with a time of 1:33.15 and the 400 freestyle relay (Schneider, Jones, Peck, Knudson) set a new MWC mark with a time of 3:23.30.
