Rams Finish Fourth at Rice Invitational

The Colorado State swimming and diving team added nine top five finished to its total of six on Friday to end the 2004 Hilton Plaza/TYR Rice Invitational with 15 top five finishes.
CSU's Taylor Felton and Celea Park finished in third and fourth place, respectively, in the 100 Yard Free while freshman Amy Abrams added a second place finish in the 100 Yard Back.
Alyson Aggers completed the 100 Yard Breaststroke in 1:07.28 for a fifh-place finish and Sara Servolo and Abi Iler came in second and third in the 200 Yard Fly, respectively. Iler also posted a fourth-place swim in the 200 Yard IM.
Freshman Alina Roberts rounded out the Ram individuals in the top five on day two with a fifth-place finish in the 50 Yard Free.
CSU's 200 Yard Medley Relay of Amy Abrams, Lyndsey McCaslin, Rachelle Kula and Roberts placed third (1:48.22).
As a team, the Rams finished fourth with 424 team points, 36 behind third-place TCU.
The Rams will be in action again on Nov. 12 in the Colorado dual.
