Kirsten Anthony Named Athlete of the Week

The Mountain West Conference today announced the first winners of the Athlete of the Week award for the 2005 cross country season and freshman Kirsten Anthony was named the women's award winner.

Anthony, competing in her first collegiate cross country competition, placed second at the Wyoming Invitational, clocking a 15:03.50 over the 2.5 mile course.

Anthony and the rest of the Colorado State cross country team will be in Albuquerque this weekend for the New Mexico Invitational on Saturday.
