Colorado State fell behind early in Friday's dual against the University of Denver suffering a 176-105 setback at home at Moby Pool with 1-Meter Diving to be scored on Saturday. This loss moves the Rams to 5-4 overall on the season.

Senior Liz Jones was the outstanding swimmer of the night for Colorado State winning two events. She swam in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 24.54 and in the 100 Freestyle with a time of 53.47. The Pioneers took home first place finishes in 11 of 15 events. Tara Staley claimed first in the 200 Freestyle (1:57.27) while taking third in the 100 Freestyle (55.10).

Ram diver Elyse Hall, who competed at the Air Force Academy on Friday, won the 3-meter diving in dual play with a score of 252.15. Pioneer freshman Caitlin Summers finished first in all three of her events Friday including the 1000 Freestyle (10:32.10), 200 Fly (2:09.10) and 200 IM (2:10.99).

Colorado State will take on UNLV on Friday, Feb. 3 at 5 p.m. MT at home in Fort Collins, Colo. in Moby Pool.
