Wyoming Next...
The Colorado State swimming and diving team will host rival Wyoming in the Rams final dual meet of the season at Rams pool. The meet is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. on Friday.
Winegarner and Brown set new best times...
Senior captain Brette Winegarner and junior MacKenzie Brown set season best times in the 200-yard backstroke at the UNLV/UCSB double dual. Winegarner finished in 2:05.36 which is also the teams best time. Brown had a finishing time of 2:08.78 and shattered her former best time by nearly three seconds.
Divers turn in good performance in double dual...
Rams divers Elyse Hall, Karin Knudson and Nicole Kelley took first, second and third in the 3-meter diving competition on Saturdays double dual with UNLV and UCSB. The trio also took first, second and fourth in the 1-meter diving with Kelley placing first in this event and Hall close behind in second.
Divers headed to Air Force Invitational...
The Colorado State and Wyoming divers will be competing in the annual Air Force Invitational in Colorado Springs this Friday, February 2th and Saturday, February 3rd. Colorado State and Wyoming's diving scores will be head to head at the invitational and will be used in the dual meet. The diving scores will likely be entered well after the swimmers are done in Fort Collins.
Four Rams to be recognized at final home meet...
Friday's meet will be the final home meet for senior's Brette Winegarner, Chandra Engs and juniors Amy Abrams and Rachel Rey. Abrams and Rey will be graduating and have decided to not return for their senior seasons of eligibility. The team will honor all four of these Ram swimmers for a job well done in and out of the pool in their time at Colorado State.
