FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The undefeated CSU swimming and diving team, powered by a strong group of underclassmen, just got better Wednesday, signing in-state prospect Breann Fuller to a National Letter of Intent. Head Coach John Mattos made the announcement.

Fuller, who enters her senior year of competition at Brighton (Colo.) High School, is the defending Colorado 5A state champion in the 100 Backstroke.

"She's an excellent student and athlete," Mattos said after receiving Fuller's faxed letter early this morning. "She will make an immediate impact on our team and within the Mountain West Conference."

When she's not in the pool, she's on the volleyball court, where the 5-foot-4 athlete demonstrates her jumping ability as an outside hitter. She lettered four years in the sport.

Fuller earned all-Colorado honors last season from both the Rocky Mountain News and Denver Post.
