Swimming and Diving Signs Two

Colorado State Swimming and Diving Coach John Mattos announced today the signing of two student-athletes to National Letters of Intent.  Michelle Price and Nicole Lynch will join the Rams for the 2007-08 season. 

 

Michelle Price (Backstroke, Fort Collins, Colo./Poudre High School)

Mattos on Price:  "Her third place finish in the 100 backstroke at this year's 5A High School Swimming and Diving Championships served notice that Michelle is just beginning to find her niche in the upper echelons of the swimming world.  She will have an immediate impact on next year's team."

 

Nicole Lynch (Breaststroke and Sprint Freestyle, Phoenix, Ariz. /Xavier College Prep.)

Mattos on Lynch:  "Nicole has the potential to be all-conference in the breaststroke and sprint freestyle events in her first year at Colorado State.  She is an excellent student with a lot of speed."
