Redshirt freshman Rastall voted MWC Athlete of the Week

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State redshirt freshman Ellie Rastall parlayed her winning performance at the Wyoming Invitational in Laramie, Wyo., this past weekend into being named MWC female Athlete of the Week.

Rastall, a Fort Collins, Colo., native, clinched the women’s title in her first official race with Colorado State. Her 4K time of 14 minutes, 49.5 seconds helped the Rams to their fifth-consecutive first-place finish at the Invitational. The Rams placed five runners in the top 10 spots on the way to the title, defeating host Wyoming by 28 points.
