Five CSU athletes earn all-conference honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.--The Mountain West Conference announced its men's and women's indoor track & field all-conference teams Monday, with five Rams qualifying. All conference-selections are awarded to the top three finishers in each event.

Ryan Billups earned all-conference with his performance in the triple jump, where he scored third place with a mark of 49 feet, 9.25 inches. Tyson Williams also earned recognition for his effort in the shot put, where he placed third with a mark of 57-0.25 (17.44). Tanesha Johnson earned all-conference accolades for her third-place effort in the triple jump, 41-.03, Kristen Kugler for her performance in the pentathlon, placing third overall with 3,796 points, and Ellie Rastall for her effort in the 3,000-meter run, with a time of 9:57.73 for a third-place finish.
