CSU's Lettow earns MWC Athlete of the Week

By Chris Feller Athletic Media Relations COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado State senior Ian Lettow has been named the Mountain West Conference indoor track and field Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday. Lettow, a business administration major from Arvada, Colo., set a personal best in the weight throw Saturday at the Don Barret Duals, with a toss of 61 feet, 11.75 inches (18.89). Lettow’s performance leads the league and ranks 47th in the country. Having recorded two first-place finishes in the weight throw through the first three weeks of competition, Lettow is off to a strong start. This is Lettow’s first weekly honor.
