Track and field recap: Rams finish competition at Twilight Open

GOLDEN, Colo. – Colorado State’s track and field program competed Friday at the Twilight Open at the Colorado School of Mines.
And like in last week’s, meet the Rams dominated the 60-meter hurdles. Colorado State had the top four finishes, with Trevor Brown winning the event in 8.09 seconds. Kelby Dias came in second followed by Sam Saccomano and Robert Wasinger in third and fourth, respectively.
On the women’s side Kalie Kirk finished second in the 60-meter hurdles, with a time of 8.73 seconds.
Two-sport athlete Raymond Carter (7.09) came in fifth in the 60-meter dash and Graham Gilliland finished third in the triple jump (47 feet, 2 inches).
Colorado State travels to Albuquerque, N.M., for the Mountain West Conference indoor championships Thursday-Saturday.
