CSU's Goodman earns MW Athlete of the Week

FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Capitalizing on a stellar performance at Saturday's Roy Griak Invitational, Colorado State's Andrew Goodman earned Mountain West Athlete of the Week. The conference made the announcement Tuesday.
Facing nationally ranked competition, the junior led the men's team to a second place finish meet on Saturday. The Colorado Springs native clocked a time of 24:41, placing ninth individually.
The Rams top finisher paced his team, beating No. 24 North Carolina State and No. 28 Arizona State. As a team, CSU finished just 5 seconds behind the winners from BYU. The second-place finish moved Colorado State into the United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association Coach's Poll at No. 16.
