FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) recognized the Colorado State swimming and diving squad with Scholar All-America status, the CSCAA announced today.

The Rams boasted a team GPA of 3.18 for the spring semester to earn their 12th honor since 2009.

“This is our eighth consecutive semester that our team has been recognized by the CSCAA for their academic achievement,” CSU Head Coach Christopher Woodard said. “It’s a standard that our staff and our girls are committed to and we aim to remain on this list for a very long time.”

Last July, 20 athletes on the CSU swimming and diving team earned Academic All-Mountain West recognition. Current Rams Katie Kicklighter and Emily Williams were also Honorable Mention CSCAA Scholar All-Americans last spring.

To be selected as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, programs must have achieved a grade point average of 3.00 or higher over the spring semester.
