Rams receive CSCAA Scholar All-America team designation

Five CSU swim & dive athletes posted perfect 4.0 GPAs for the spring semester
FORT COLLINS, Colo. — The Colorado State Rams swimming & diving squad earned Scholar All-America recognition, the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America has announced.
The squad posted a 3.35 composite team GPA for the Spring 2018 semester. For a team to be considered, it must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as defined by the institution. The team grade point average includes all eligible varsity student-athletes.
CSU has earned 12 consecutive Scholar All-America honors, and 16 times since 2009.
"The staff is so proud of our athletes and their continued commitment to learning," head coach Woody Woodard said. "Their devotion to putting in the work in the classroom and the pool is truly inspiring."
In addition, five Rams posted perfect 4.0 GPAs in the spring:
CSU had a successful 2017-18 campaign, finishing fifth at the Mountain West championships in mid-February. The team registered an 8-3 dual meet record, its best since the 2009-10 season.
