Rams’ Marybeth Sant to compete at 112th NYRR Millrose Games

Sant to run in 60 meters in prestigious meet on Saturday
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State redshirt-senior Marybeth Sant will compete in the 112th NYRR (New York Road Runners) Millrose Games this Saturday.
The NYRR Millrose Games is set to be held from The Armory's New Balance Track and Field Center in New York City. Sant will compete in the 60 meters, which is scheduled for 2:01 p.m. MT/4:01 p.m. ET, and is the only collegian in the eight-athlete 60-meters field.
The NYRR Millrose Games will be broadcast live on NBC, with coverage beginning at 2:30 p.m. MT/4:30 p.m. ET and concluding at 4 p.m. MT/6 p.m. ET. While Sant's race precedes the start of NBC's coverage, her event is anticipated to be featured during the broadcast.
Sant enters the race with a personal-best of 7.18, the fifth-fastest in the field and the No. 2 time in the field this indoor season. The redshirt senior's time is a program record, as well as the No. 3 time in Mountain West history. In addition, Sant ranks third in the NCAA and eighth in the world this indoor season.
