CSU shoots a tournament-record 15-under in the afternoon to take a seven-shot lead
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State moved up four spots in the afternoon round and leads the Ram Masters Invitational Presented by Pedersen Toyota after Monday's action. The two-day, 54-hole tournament, hosted by CSU, is being played at Fort Collins Country Club, as the Rams will take a seven-shot advantage into Tuesday's final round.

HIGHLIGHTS AND NOTES
- The 15-under 265 in the second round is a tournament record, surpassing last year's 14-under 266 in the second round by the Rams
- The 20-shot improvement from the opening round to the second round is tied for the second- largest single-round improvement in the tournament's eight-year history. Weber State improved 21 shots from the second to third round in 2015.
- The 10-under total for 36 holes for the Rams is third-lowest in tournament history.
- CSU had four scores of 67 or better in the second round, as the counting scores each had five birdies in their score to a combined just five bogeys.
- Junior Cullen Plousha shot a career-low total score and under-par round with a 4-under 66. It was only his second competitive round in the 60s at CSU.
- Sophomore Davis Bryant tied his career low round with his 66, his ninth career round in the 60s
- Sophomore Oscar Teiffel also tied his career low with the 66 in the second round, as he posted his ninth round in the 60s overall
- Senior AJ Ott recorded his 17th career round in the 60s and 40th career round of par or better.
- The Rams have two players in the top five individually, as senior AJ Ott is third at 5-under 135 on his home course and sophomore Davis Bryant is tied for fourth at 3-under 137.
- The overall tournament scoring improved one shot from the morning to the afternoon, as the average was 73.4 in the first 18 and 72.4 in the second 18.
- CSU Is looking to capture its sixth straight Ram Masters Invitational title tomorrow, starting at 9:40 am. Admission is free
