Program earns Scholar All-American Team honors from CSCAA

Woodard’s team makes the list for ninth consecutive semester

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – For the ninth consecutive semester – and 16 of the past 17 – Colorado State's women's swimming and diving team has earned Scholar All-American Team honors from the CSCAA, the organization announced Tuesday.

The Rams' team of 31 student-athletes compiled a 3.57 GPA for the 2021 spring semester. Of the nearly 200 programs identified as reaching the standard, coach Christopher Woodard's team ranked in the top 57 percent nationally. Of the nine Mountain West schools recognized, Colorado State ranked second in the conference behind Nevada (3.71).

There are 15 members of the team who recorded a spring GPA of 3.70 or better, with five – Emma Breslin, Jennae Frederick, Megan Hager, Anika Johnson and Liza Lunina – posted perfect 4.0 GPAs for the semester.

To earn the honors, a team must compile a GPA of 3.00 or better for a semester.
