CSU Accepting Donations At Jan. 4 MBB Game For American Red Cross Marshall Fire Relief Effort

FORT COLLINS, Colo – To assist with the recovery efforts from the recent Marshall Fire, the Colorado State athletic department will be taking donations at the men's basketball game against Air Force on Tuesday, January 4.

Donation stations will be located at the North and South concourse entrances of Moby Arena. All donations will benefit the American Red Cross of Colorado to support disaster relief.

"As Coloradans, we are all hurt by what happened with the fires here in the communities near us," athletic director Joe Parker said. "We have numerous CSU students, faculty, staff, friends and family in that area that were impacted by the fires. We want to help, and our men's basketball game in Moby Arena on January 4 provides us with an important opportunity to support those in our community dealing with this heartbreaking tragedy."

Donations will be accepted in the form of cash or check. Contributions made by check may be tax deductible by utilizing the form provided by the American Red Cross of Colorado (Click Here). Donations can also be made by texting REDCROSS to 90999 on your mobile device.

To make a donation via check:

1. Please print and complete the attached American Red Cross Donation Form.
2. Make check payable to the "American Red Cross."
3. Place your form and check in an envelope.
4. Drop off your envelope (donation form and check) as you enter Moby Arena on Tuesday, January 4.

The game between the Rams and Falcons will tip off at 7 pm, with doors opening to fans at 6 p.m.
