Four Rams Named CSC Academic All-District

Albanna, Hager, Johnson, White recognized for classroom excellence
FORT COLLINS, Colo.  – Four members of the Colorado State women's swimming and diving team were named Academic All-District by the College Sports Communicators for their work in the pool and classroom this season.

To be selected, a student-athlete must carry a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or greater, which all of them – Jessica Albanna, Megan Hager, Anika Johnson and Maya White -- do with ease.

Hager and Johnson, both juniors, hold perfect 4.0 GPAs while majoring in biomedical science and psychology, respectively. Hager is an eight-time Mountain West placer and ranks top 10 in program history in the 200-yard freestyle; Johnson has earned three All-Mountain West honors while being a nine-time conference placer, ranking second in program history in the 200 freestyle.

Albanna, a senior, hold a 3.97 in health and exercise science. An NCAA Zones qualifier, she ranks in the top 10 in school history on all three boards and placed three times in conference.

White is a sophomore; she carries a 3.91 in nutritional science. A six-time conference placer, she ranks in the top four in four events at CSU while earning a trio of All-Mountain West honors.
