Colorado State Announces 2022-23 Financial Results

The report showed a record-setting year in Canvas Stadium operations.

 
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State University's Department of Athletics has submitted its 2022-23 financial report to the NCAA as part of the NCAA's annual reporting requirements for all Division 1 athletic departments.
 
Director of Athletics Joe Parker presented the report as part of the department's annual presentation to the CSU System Board of Governors on Friday in Pueblo.

Highlights of the 2022-23 Financial Report:
  • Saw $17.4 million in gross revenue and $13.9 million in net revenue for the operation of Canvas Stadium, the highest gross-revenue mark and second-highest net revenue mark since opening the venue in 2017.
  • Exceeded the CSL study in net income variance for the stadium in FY23 by $1 million
  • Took less University one-time support than budgeted, a mark achieved every year during Joe Parker's tenure as Director of Athletics
