MEET NOTESÂ
·     The meet, which was initially scheduled to be run on Saturday, Oct. 18th, has been moved up to Friday due to forecasted weather.Â
·     The Rams have claimed two first-place individual victories this year, thanks to Kenya Denne at the UCCS XC Open (Oct 10th) and Tatum Berg at the Roadrunner Invitational (Sep 20th). Dennee accomplished that feat in her only race of the season, while Berg has claimed three MW weekly awards for her strong start to the season. Â
·     Ryan Schumacher will make his first ever appearance for Green and Gold this week. The Notre Dame transfer finished ninth place at the Wisconsin Pre-Nationals last season and looks to be a major addition to the men's side. Â
·     12 Ram women will compete in Missouri, five of whom are true freshman. Joining Berg on the trip is Ruby Schwelm, Sierra Cornett, Adeline Barker and Amrie Lacefield. This freshman squad competed in the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invite (Oct 1st) with Berg finishing in the top 50 and Schwelm in the top 75. Â
·     Parker Westermann and Jonas Scudamore head to Columbia as the freshman representatives on the men's side. Westermann has shined in his outings, running a personal best at the Joe Piane Notre Dame invite. Westermann finished as the third Ram across the line in South Bend, a performance that earned him MW Men's Freshman of the Week. Â
