Berg Shows Out in NCAA Mountain Regionals

Colorado State freshman shines once again

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah - Colorado State cross country competed Friday at the NCAA Mountain Regionals. The women's side finished eighth in the 6K, while the men's team finished 12th in the 10K. 
  • Tatum Berg once again stole the show for the Rams, ending the day as the top runner from CSU. The freshman finished 35th a massive 19 spot jump from where her season best ranks among the region. 
  • On the men's side, it was Chris Henry who finished back on top for the Rams. The junior ended at 59th on the day. Henry has been a model of consistency at the Mountain Regional, finishing 62nd and 52nd in his previous outings. 
  • Following Berg were seniors Kenya Dennee and Kensey May, the duo crossed the line at 46th and 47th, respectively. This was Dennee's highest finish at the Mountain Regional, coming off the back of her late season surge.  
  • The women's side finished a spot ahead of where they were ranked in the USTFCCA regional rankings. The performance came from the back of a team effort, with Mari Konold and Allison Pippert finishing just behind Dennee and May at 52nd and 54th, respectively.
