- Colorado State is sending a flurry of conference medalists to Wyoming, including outdoor national qualifiers Kajsa Borrman and Klaire Kovatch. Borrman qualified in the hammer throw last season, finishing 21st at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Kovatch qualified in the discus, while moving to 5th place in the CSU all-time ranks. Â
Â
- On the men's side of the throwing spectrum sits Leonardo Ramos, Kyle Bigley, Daniel Baroumbaye, Adam Hellbom and Cameron Kalaf, all of whom were contributors at the conference last season. Ramos, Bigley and Baroumbaye are top-level shot putters finishing third fifth and eighth at the MW outdoor conference last May, respectively. Â
Â
- Throws aren't the only area where the men see several veterans return. This year's "flight crew" sees Jamison Taylor and Ndayiragije Shukurani get to work this weekend. Shukurani had one of the highlights of the 2025 season where he hit seven feet in the high jump at the Doug Max Invite (May. 3). Taylor finished second in the triple jump at the MW outdoor conference championships and competed in the qualifying rounds of the NCAA West First Round. Â
Â
- Multi's athlete and Czech Republic native, Tereza Babicka, also gets to work this Saturday. Babicka has shown consistent improvement throughout her career, highlighted by a third-place finish in the heptathlon and personal best at the last MW outdoor conference championship. Mateo Munoz has shown a similar path in his multi's career, ending his 2025 campaign with a personal best and 5th place finish in the heptathlon at the MW indoor championships.Â
