FORT COLLINS – Colorado State track and field prepares for its penultimate regular season weekend of the indoor slate this Friday and Saturday at the Colorado Classic. Field events take place on Friday with the runners making way on Saturday.

MEET NOTES

Ndayiragije Shukurani is ready to set loose in the high jump once again. The sophomore's mark of 2.18-meters/7-feet-1.75 leads the Mountain West and is tied for 12th in the nation; currently within the NCAA Nationals qualifying threshold.

Kajsa Borrman holds similar rankings in the weight throw with her mark of 21.70/71-2.5. Borrman has an eight-foot lead on second place in the conference and ranks 13th nationally.

In week two of the USTFCCCA track and field event squad rankings, the men hold four positions in the top 10. These include weight throw (4th), 60-meter hurdles (8th), high jump (8th) and shot put (8th). The women's side sees itself with two top-ten placements, the shot put (4th) and weight throw (9th).

The men's side holds two of the nation's top freshman in Taylor Waters and Owen Langdon. Langdon's 7.74 in the 60 hurdles is first in the conference and 28th in the nation. He additionally ranks in a tie for fourth among all freshmen. Waters' rank is second in the MW, and top 50 nationally; he ranks top ten among all freshman pole vaulters.

Neya Jamison is another Ram getting it done at the top of the conference. The senior is just a tenth of a second shy of the top spot in the MW in the 60 hurdles and ranks fifth in the Colorado State record book.
