New Conference, New Season: Rams Announce 2026 Schedule

Team pushes for success in Pac-12 debut
Colorado State cross country coach Kelly Hart announced the Rams' 2026 schedule Tuesday, featuring five regular-season meets before the postseason begins in late October.
The Rams open their campaign Sept. 4 at the Wyoming Invitational in Cheyenne, Wyo., before returning home to compete in the Roadrunners Invitational on Sept. 19 in Denver. The Rams will then head east for the Gans Creek Classic on Sept. 25 in Columbia, Mo., continuing a schedule that takes CSU to several of the region's premier cross country courses.
CSUÂ returns to Terre Haute, Ind., on Oct. 16 for the Pre-National Invitational before making their final regular-season appearance at the Colorado Springs XC Open on Oct. 24.
The postseason opens Oct. 30 at the Pac-12 Championships in Boise, Idaho. The Rams will then race at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships on Nov. 13 in Albuquerque, N.M., where spots in the NCAA Championships will be on the line.
The 2026 NCAA Championships will take place Nov. 21 in Terre Haute, marking the final meet of the season for teams and individuals advancing through the postseason.
