2014-15 (JUNIOR): Provided CSU's third-best 400 IM time at the Mountain West Championships (4:39.74).

2013-14 (SOPHOMORE): Participated in the backstroke and freestyle events throughout the season... Added the 400 IM to her repertoire, swimming the fourth-fastest time on the team (4:49.52)... Competed on the 200 Freestyle and 800 Freestyle Relay teams... Earned Mountain West Academic All-Conference honors for the second-straight season.

2012-13 (FRESHMAN): Made an immediate impact in the pool, swimming in five individual events, in addition to the 800 Freestyle Relay. Had a season-best time in the 100 Backstroke (59.90) and 200 Backstroke (2:07.81) at the Tennessee Invitational (Nov. 17)... Both times ranked fifth on the team... Earned Mountain West Academic All-Conference honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: Is a 2012 graduate of Marcus High School... Was a Canadian Nationals Qualifier in the 100 and 200 Backstroke and a Texas 5A state qualifier... Was named her team's 2011 and 2012 Most Valuable Player... Received recognition for her academic achievements with the Scholastic All-America award... Swam with the Dallas Mustangs club team.

PERSONAL: Born in Ottawa, Canada... Daughter of Kevin and Donna Thornton... Has one sister, Rileigh... Majoring in business administration.
