2017-18 (FRESHMAN): A freestyle specialist, she posted season-best times of 25.37 in the 50, 55.09 in the 100, 1:57.17 in the 200 and 5:19.54 in the 500. ... Came in at 1:01.05 in the 100 backstroke.

HIGH SCHOOL: Templin is strong in backstroke and freestyle and was a four-time state qualifier. She was also a western zone sectional qualifier. The team captain was also a first-team academic all-state honoree and a member of the National Honors Society. She swam for the Denver Swim Academy under coach Nick Frasersmith. Templin is the younger sister of former CSU swimmer Lydia Templin.
 
Head coach Woody Woodard on Templin: “Hadley Templin continues the family tradition of swimming Templins at CSU. Hadley comes to us from Denver Swim Academy and has become a strong mid-distance freestyle and backstroke specialist. Our staff felt as though Hadley has some untapped potential and we believe that with some power and speed work she can become a solid contributor to our program.”
