RAM Life's Mission and Overview
- RAM Life supports the CSU Athletics mission "to Educate, Engage, and Excel".
- To encourage and prepare all Ram student-athletes for real and meaningful life after sports
- Career Development
- Keeping Colorado State Athletics' mission at the forefront, RAM Life enhances the student-athlete's experience to prepare them for a career after sport. This includes, but is not limited to:
- First year Rams are educated on resources that are available to them and how to build out their resume during their college journey.
- Second year Rams engage with their interests through assessments, learn more about local companies, and the tools on networking.
- Third year Rams enhance their resume skill and networking skills by participating in mock interviews with local industry professionals.
- Fourth year Rams and beyond excel above the norm by mastering dining etiquette and the understanding on how to stay connected with the network they have built.
- Keeping Colorado State Athletics' mission at the forefront, RAM Life enhances the student-athlete's experience to prepare them for a career after sport. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Community Service
- Colorado State student-athletes, coaches, and staff have multiple opportunities to serve the Fort Collins and northern Colorado communities.
- Events the Rams have participated in include "Reading with the Rams," where student-athletes have partnered with Poudre School District to read to elementary aged school children, food drives for local food banks, service opportunities throughout the community, and more.
- Personal Enhancement
- Real and meaningful life experiences allow for student-athletes to invest in themselves and strive to be the best version of themselves. This includes, but is not limited to, Summer Integration Programming, guest speakers, leadership conversations, and financial literacy in partnership with Canvas Credit Union.
