Located at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, we represent Colorado State University, a Tier 1 research institution and the highest-ranked public university in the Mountain West Conference by U.S. News and World Reports. Stalwart in our nature, we are comprised of 16 NCAA Division 1 programs, each passionately striving for success on and off the fields of play. Mission and Guiding Principles
Our mission statement is pretty simple here at Colorado State: To Educate, Engage, and Excel.Â
"Educate" -Â We fulfill our mission to educate student-athletes as evidenced by the top graduation success rates in the Mountain West conference.
"Engage" -Â Athletics gives Colorado State University an opportunity to brings students, alumni, and fans from all areas together to celebrate being Rams. We are also active in our community to support community service and engage our fans, donors, and the community at-large.

We are also guided by 11 key guiding principles, each carefully crafted by our leadership:
- Student-Athletes first and foremost.
- Play by the rules! Always.
- Compete. Win. Be a Champion.
- Be a Stalwart Teammate.
- Respect ourselves. Respect others.
- Embrace the opportunity. Honor the privilege.
