Ran in five meets as a freshman … Made her collegiate debut with a 23:10.2 at the Roy Griak Invitational (Sept. 22) … Helped the Rams win the Mountain West Championship by running career-best 21:39.0 and placing 43rd individually (Oct. 27).

Attended Arapahoe High School in Centennial, Colorado... Competed for cross country all four year of prep while also doing track and field her last three years... Three-time first-team All-League and first-team All-Region honoree... Was a two-time Cross Country State Champion... Earned first-team, second-team and honorable mention All-State during her prep career as she ran in the State Championships.. Was named team captain her senior cross country season and earned Outstanding Senior Award... Also played basketball her first two year of high school...  In the classroom she was a four-time Scholar Athlete recipient and a four-time first-team Academic All-State honoree... Daughter to Kelly and Simon Escorcia... Has a younger sibling Dylan.
