2008 (Freshman): Bobby scored twice during the indoor season in the 800 meters. He finished second (1:55.11) at the Air Force Invitational (Feb. 1) and fourth (1:53.99) at the MWC indoor championships (Feb. 28). During the outdoor season, he scored at the Jack Christiansen Invitational (April 25) with a fourth-place finish (1:54.06) in the 800 meters.
2007: Bobby redshirted his first year with the Rams.
High School: Bobby lettered in three sports while attending Conifer High School in Conifer, Colo. He was a two-time Colorado state champion in the 800 meters. He holds the Colorado 4A state record in the 800 meters (1:52.71), and also holds school records in the mile, two mile, 5K, 4x400 meters and 4x800 meters.
Personal: Bobby was born March 15, 1989, to Robert and Deborah Potrykus in Dallas, Texas. He has a younger sister, Angela. He has yet to decide on a major.
