2006: Redshirted the outdoor season. Placed seventh at the Mountain West Championship in the mile after running the fastest qualifying time during the preliminaries. Was also a member of the distance medley relay team. In four regular season races, finished in the top three in all of them. Already owns the third fastest time in school history in the mile and the fifth quickest in the 800 meters. During the cross country season, placed 25th at the Mountain West Championship, hosted by the Rams.
