Annie joined Colorado State Athletics in June of 2007 and currently serves as Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine. She previously served as Assistant Athletic Trainer in 2007 and was promoted to Associate Head Athletic Trainer in 2018.

In her role Bauman directly oversees the health and well-being of Rams’ student-athletes as the primary athletic trainer for both the Colorado State women’s basketball and women’s golf programs.

Bauman also manages the Athletic Training Facility in Moby Arena, and is responsible for purchasing for multiple facilities within the CSU Sports Medicine Department. The Moby Arena facility--a state-of-the-art, 8,313 square-foot facility--houses six full-time certified assistant athletic trainers and supports 15 of the Rams’ 16 varsity athletics programs, as well as CSU’s spirit squads.

Bauman came to Colorado State after earning her master’s degree in 2007 from Purdue University. During her time at Purdue, Bauman worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the Boilermakers’ softball program and provided secondary coverage for football.

Prior to Purdue, Bauman worked with the football and track & field programs at Tulane University as a graduate assistant athletic trainer.

A 2004 graduate of Iowa State University, Bauman earned a degree in Exercise and Sports Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training. She is a certified athletic trainer and a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association.

A native of Des Moines, Iowa, Bauman graduated from Urbandale High School. Annie and her husband, Brian, reside in Fort Collins with their two boxer dogs, Ayla and Luda.
