Bio
Colorado State 2006-07: Finaled in both the 400 IM and 200 Fly to garner two all-conference performances...Also won the consols of the 200 IM...Was the team[apos]s `high point[apos] scorer at the MWC Championships as well as during the dual-meet phase of the season...Swam lifetime bests in the 50, 100 and 200 Freestyles, the 200 and 400 IM[apos]s, and the 200 Fly...Voted by her teammates `Most Valuable[apos] swimmer four times and `Most Inspirational[apos] swimmer on three occasions...Awarded `Most Inspirational[apos] overall swimmer at the team[apos]s end-of-season spring banquet.
Mullen High School: Received All-America honors in the 100 Fly, as well as the 200 and 400 Medley Relays...Became the first swimmer in 4A high school history to win four events at the state high school championships...Voted team captain her senior year...Lettered all four years of her high school career...Also swam for Foothills Swim Team, and for George Fernandez on the Greenwood Athletic Club team.
Personal: Born Aug. 20, 1988...Daughter of Elias and Linda Muniz...Has an older sister, Amanda...Majoring in health and exercise science at CSU...Full name is Jennifer Nicole Muniz.
