2025-26 (JUNIOR): Earned the first all-conference honors of her career when she placed fifth in the 100 freestyle and sixth in the 200 free. … Posted a trio of top-10 program times at the Mountain West Championships: No. 2 in the 100 free (49.19); No. 3 in the 200 free (1:48.37) and No. 6 in the 50 free (22.88). … Swam legs on the school-record setting 200 and 400 freestyle relay teams at conference. … Scored in every meet this season-. … Recorded three personal-best times.

2024-25 (SOPHOMORE):  Earned her first placings at the conference meet while vaulting into the school’s top performers lists … Ranks fifth in the 200-yard freestyle after placing 11th at the conference meet. … Posted the program’s seventh-best time in the 100 free, placing 11th in the open event. … Was part of the school-record setting 400 free relay, as well as a member of the 200 and 800 free teams. … Posted an individual win in the 50 breast against Mines.

2023-24 (FRESHMAN): Scored in seven meets her debut season. … Swam exhibition at the Mountain West Championships, dropping time in  two of her three events. … Had the third best 50 free and 100 free on the season for the team. … A sprint freestyler, she added depth to the Rams’ relay lineup ... Earned Academic All-Mountain West and Scholar-Athlete honors.


High School:  A sectionals finalist and Futures qualifier, won the 100-yard breaststroke and 200 individual medley while placing third in the 100 free at the Sierra Nevada Winter Championships … Was the Sierra Nevada swimming scholar athlete from 2019-22, has set 19 age-group records for her club and holds personal records of 1:51.46 in the 200 freestyle, 52.39 in the 100 free and 2:06.74 in the 200 IM.
 
Personal: Born July 7, 2005 … Parents are Jenny and Michael Axelman … Has three brothers (Quinn, Silas, Leo) and a sister, Zola … Intends to major in ecosystem science and sustainability.
