2013-14 (JUNIOR): Competed in the backstroke events, earning the team's third-fastest time of the season in the 200 Backstroke (2:03.81) and the fourth-best in the 100 Backstroke (57.89)... At the 2014 Mountain West Championships, finished 19th in the 200 Backstroke, 19th in the 100 Backstroke and 35th in the 100 Butterfly.
2012-13 (SOPHOMORE): Was one of the fastest backstrokers of the season for CSU... At the 2013 Mountain West Championships, she exceeded expectations in the 100 and 200 Backstroke, earning a lifetime-best time in the 200 Backstroke (2:00.24)... The time earned a 14th-place finish at the Championships and was the second-fastest of the season by a Ram, only trailing MW-record-holder Breann Fuller... Set a lifetime best in the 100 Backstroke (56.31), placing 18th at the Championships.
2011-12 (FRESHMAN): Held the Rams' third-fastest time of the season in the 100 (58.40) and 200 Backstroke events (2:05.47)... Both times were set at the 2012 Mountain West Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL: Is a 2011 graduate of A.J. Dimond High School in Anchorage, Alaska... Earned letters all four years of high school... Was a captain during her senior season... As a sophomore, was part of a school-record time in the 200 Medley Relay (1:48.97)... Earned her team's Most Valuable and Most Inspirational awards as a sophomore in 2009-10... Also participated with the Northern Lights Swim Club.
PERSONAL: Born in Anchorage, Alaska... Daughter of Mike and Karen Hawkins...Has two younger sisters, Megan and Makenzie...Majoring in biological science.
