With more than 15 seasons as a NCAA Division I assistant coach under her belt, including stints in two of college basketball’s power five leagues, Linda Sayavongchanh joined the Colorado State Women's Basketball coaching staff in June 2025..

Prior to arriving in Fort Collins, Sayavongchanh spent three seasons as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Indiana from 2022-25. In her time with the Hoosiers, Sayavongchanh helped guide the team to three NCAA Tournament appearances – including a trip to the Sweet Sixteen in 2023-24 – and a Big Ten regular season championship in 2022-23.
 
Sayavongchanh spent the previous seven seasons at Creighton (2015-22) as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator and played a role in recruiting and developing former Ram Emma Ronsiek during her time with the Bluejays. In her seven seasons in Omaha, Sayavongchanh helped lead Creighton to three NCAA Tournament appearances, including the program’s first trips to the Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight in 2022.
 
Before Creighton, Sayavongchanh spent two years at Saint Louis (2013-15) and spent time on the bench with North Dakota (2012-13) as well as her alma mater, Drake (2009-12). She began her career as a graduate assistant at Minnesota-Duluth (2007-09).
 
As a student athlete, Sayavongchanh starred on the hardwood for Drake from 2002-06 where she earned three All-Missouri Valley Conference selections. She finished her career with 1,129 points and was named to the MVC All-Defensive Team three times as well.
