Ruby Kayser serves Colorado State Athletics as the Rams Live Reporter and Producer, leading the department's new Rams Live multimedia platform. In her role, Kayser produces, reports and executes original content across Colorado State Athletics, including feature interviews, live pregame and postgame shows, breaking news coverage, social media campaigns and in-game storytelling.
Kayser's work focuses on delivering engaging, athlete-centered content that connects Rams fans with Colorado State's programs and student-athletes through digital, social and live media platforms. In addition to her reporting and production responsibilities, she serves as a volleyball analyst and event host for Colorado State Athletics.
A Colorado State alumna, Kayser graduated with a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Media Communication and a minor in Sports Management. During her time at CSU, she was a four-year member of the Rams Volleyball program and earned numerous honors, including the 2024 Outstanding Journalism and Media Communication Award for exemplary academic and extracurricular achievement and the prestigious 2024 Fum McGraw Award.
Following her collegiate indoor volleyball career, Kayser competed in beach volleyball at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi, where she completed a fifth year of eligibility while continuing to expand her experience in sports media and communications. Working full time for he Islanders Athletic Department as an Analyst and Play by Play Commentator for Indoor Volleyball, Baseball, Basketball, Softball, and Soccer on ESPN+. She also earned a Certificate in Social Media Management.
In addition to her work at Colorado State, Kayser has developed experience in sports broadcasting and live event coverage. In the spring of 2025, she called her first professional volleyball match as a color analyst for the San Diego Mojo of Major League Volleyball, further advancing her career in sports media and storytelling.
