Ryan joined the Strategic Communications and Brand Enhancement staff in September of 2022 and moved into his current role of Senior Director in May of 2024.He serves as the main contact for Colorado State's athletic department, men's basketball, men's golf and women's golf programs while overseeing the student assistant who leads the communication efforts for soccer.
Pfeifer came to CSU from Northern Colorado where he spent eight years in their Strategic Communications department.Â
He worked with all 19 sports during his time at UNC including being the main contact for their Division I football and men's basketball team for five years. Pfeifer took over as the director of the communications department in Greeley in February 2020 overseeing all daily operations.
Pfeifer is a graduate of Northern Colorado.Â
